Obituary – Robert Kelly Dies After A Long Illness
Robert “Bob” Kelly died Saturday after a long illness. Born in Scranton, son of the late Christine and Roy Kelly, he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. Prior to his illness, he was employed by Poly-High Corp. and The Scranton Times.
He is survived by a sister, Pat Buntz, and husband, Ed; sister, Lani Burke; and sister-in-law, Sharon Kelly, all of Scranton. Also surviving are nieces, Kelly McDonough and Cathy Romeo; great-nieces, Molly and Lily Romeo; great-nephews, Donnie Van Fleet and Matt Romeo; and great-great-nephew, Greysin Van Fleet.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Tim; and brother-in-law, Robert Burke. Private funeral arrangements are under the care of the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton.
