Andy Benoit, a Facebook user, shared the death news of the deceased through a Facebook post online saying, “Tonight I am saddened to learn of the passing of Nicco Montalbano. Nicco was a member of our 2010 NCFA National Championship Team. He is beloved by his brothers on that team as well as those of us who were fortunate enough to coach them. Deepest condolences to Nicco’s family at this time. Rest In Peace #5.”
