Obituary – Margaret Petrini Has Died, What Happened? Margaret (Petrucci) Petrini, 92, formerly of Richland passed away on April 6, 2022, at Brookdale in Cape May Court House. She was born to the late Amerigo and Marsilia (Giombetti) Petrucci in Jessup, PA. She lived in Jessup through her early teens, when the family moved to Richland, NJ. Margaret lived in Richland for most of her life. She married the love of her life, Ben Petrini on October 19, 1947, they began 62 years together, until Ben died in 2009. Together they had two children James “Jimmy” and Kathleen “Kathy”.
They worked together with Ben’s family at Petrini’s Richland Poultry Farm and hatchery for about 20 years when the poultry business faded. She began working for Richland Glass Company for 25 plus years. For the next 10 years, she worked as a cafeteria aide for the Buena Regional High School before finally retiring. Margaret always enjoyed family and friends, cooking meals for a large group with frequent occurrence. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, traveling, and working with the church and fire company dinners and holiday functions.
She is survived by her son, Jim Petrini (Pamela); daughter, Kathleen Longini (Michael); grandchildren, Jana Scali (Dominic), Tara Delpizzo (Steven), Andrea “Andi” Petrini, and Lea Stavoli (Michael); great-grandchildren, Dominic & Ethan Scali, Maggie, Kylie and Ben Delpizzo and Zoey & Eva Stavoli; brother & sister-in-law, John Petrini (Jean); and many nieces, nephews & cousins. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Ben Petrini; parents, Amerigo & Marsilia (Giombetti) Petrucci; brothers, Aldo and Ronald Petrucci; brothers-in-law, Joseph Petrini Jr and Dominic Mesiano and her sisters-in-law, Marie Petrini, Regina Mesiano & Betty Petrucci.
A church visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 8:45 am to 10:45 am followed by a funeral mass at 11 am from Saint Padre Pio Parish – Church Of St. Mary’s, 736 Union Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery- Vineland.
