Linda K. Lee Death, Obituary News – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of US Route 119 and Old Logan Road. The collision occurred near Chapmanville at 10:17 a.m. on Friday.
A Dodge Ram truck heading south on US 119 slowed to turn and failed to yield to a Cadillac SUV travelling north, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
According to wsaz.com, The SUV’s driver, Linda K. Lee of Whitman, West Virginia, was ejected from her car, according to the sheriff’s office.
Lee and her passenger were taken to the hospital, where Lee succumbed to her injuries and died. The passenger was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
There’s no information on whether the truck’s driver was hurt. According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the crash is still being investigated.
