According to Ceschi Ramos‘s Facebook post online, “Just found out about the passing of Ken Allen, a longtime supporter from Portland Oregon who became a friend over the years. He was the type of dude who would tell everyone he knew about my music – because it moved him on another level. He’d also pop into my life to tell me about his life & the ups and downs. I Remember when he sent me this deck he had custom printed for me.
I’m still not sure why he thought of me when he made this – but it remains on our practice space wall in New Haven. One of the most amazing privileges that has come from a life of sharing music is that it’s built unlikely & inspiring friendships all over the world. Grateful to have connected with Ken in this lifetime. Peace.”
