Isaac Malone Cause Of Death, Obituary Unavailable Yet – Authorities believe Isaac Malone, 25, shot and killed his wife, Ariel, formerly of Alexandria, before killing himself in rural Wadena, Otter Tail County, on Friday, April 29.
Ariel was born in 1997 in Alexandria and married Malone in a church in Alexandria in 2019. Malone earned a degree in building construction from Alexandria Technical and Community College, according to his obituary.
According to echopress.com, At at 8:40 p.m. on Friday night, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the house of Isaac and Ariel (Sakry) Malone to find the husband and wife dead. It was reported as a single incidence at the time, although it seemed suspicious.
The sheriff’s office announced Monday morning that the husband had murdered his 25-year-old wife before killing himself. There was no further information about what triggered the incident.
The Midwest Medical Examiners Officer performed autopsies. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is collaborating with the investigation.
Isaac’s funeral will be held in Wadena, and Ariel’s will be held in Clarkfield, Minnesota. The couple has two children, ages three and one.
The sheriff’s office has not disclosed any additional information because the event is still being investigated.
