Obituary: Glen Clark,42, Killed In Hit-And-Run On Mountain – The investigation into the incident that killed the second pedestrian in less than a week is still ongoing. According to Hamilton police, the 42-year-old pedestrian who was killed in a hit-and-run on the Mountain early Friday has died. The man, identified as Glen Harison Clark, died of his injuries one day after being struck by a vehicle traveling south on Upper Wentworth Street around 2 a.m., according to police.
According to cbc.ca, The motorist fled the scene, but police stated Saturday that “investigators have identified and recovered the car involved.” The man is the ninth pedestrian killed on Hamilton streets in 2022, and the second in less than a week, following conductor Boris Brott’s death in a hit-and-run near his Durand home on Tuesday.
Brott’s funeral was held at Temple Anshe Sholom in Westdale on Sunday afternoon. According to organizers with the Orchestre Classique de Montréal, a memorial gathering is scheduled for Monday evening at Mcdonald Park in Montreal, “where Boris conducted his first performance, at the age of ten, 68 years ago.”
