Obituary Death: Canton Architect Rodney Meadows Has Died At 67 – Rodney W. Meadows, a well-known Canton architect for nearly four decades, passed away on Thursday. He was a 67-year-old Louisville resident. Meadows, the president of Motter & Meadows Architects, was instrumental in the development of modern-day Canton and various Stark County school districts.
According to cantonrep.com, Meadows was a board member and a “fierce advocate of downtown Canton,” according to Todd Herberghs, executive director of the Downtown Canton Special Improvement District. “It’s a huge loss,” Herberghs stated late Friday.
Meadows also backed arts and theater projects like the Canton Palace Theatre, ArtsinStark, and EN-RICH-MENT, according to him. “He was invested in the success of Canton and Stark County because he believed in the town and saw its potential.
