According to authorities, Beginning on Monday, the authorities in charge of improving the roadways along the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway in the La Mirada area have announced their intention to begin partially closing off a portion of the freeway. According to Marc Bischoff of Caltrans, the closures will make it possible for crews to restripe the pavement and alter the traffic lanes. Marc Bischoff is a spokesperson for Caltrans. According to the authorities, the following is the schedule, which is not fixed and is always subject to change:

  • All lanes of northbound Interstate 5 between Artesia Boulevard and Carmenita Road will be closed beginning at 11 p.m., on Monday and continuing until 5:00 a.m., on Tuesday morning due to construction.
  • Moreover, the link from westbound State Route 91 to northbound Interstate 5 will be closed during those times.
  • Every morning, the lanes will become accessible once more.
