North Jersey accident involving accused intoxicated driver, eight cars were damaged: One car was left stuck and a path of destruction was left on the roads and sidewalks at the intersection of Mola Boulevard and Godwin Avenue in Elmwood Park on Friday evening. The disaster, which allegedly included a drunk driver and involved eight automobiles, brought about the accident.
The collision resulted in significant damage to vehicles, as evidenced by the fact that car parts were strewn across the road and cars were forced into each other, according to the authorities. He was eventually released under John’s Law to a third party that the police could not identify. Jean C. Lizardo, who is 29 years old and lives in Elmwood Park, was arrested by the police and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol.
“At approximately 5:53 p.m., the Elmwood Park Police Department received multiple 911 calls regarding a serious motor vehicle accident,” as stated by Michael Foligno, the chief of police for Elmwood Park City. “Multiple damaged vehicles were in the roadway and on the sidewalks.” After being rescued from a vehicle in which they were confined, the driver was sent to Hackensack University Medical Center with very minor injuries.
Two additional individuals who were engaged in the collision required medical attention for minor injuries and were transported to Hackensack. A fire in Wayne, New Jersey, has rendered the family home uninhabitable and has resulted in the death of a pet. Two firefighters sustained injuries.

During the investigation, both the Fatal Accident Unit of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Crime Scene Unit of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office were present at the scene. There, he was processed, charged with driving while intoxicated, and issued motor vehicle summonses, according to Foligno. Lizardo was transferred to the headquarters of the Elmwood Park Police Department.
