Shooting in New Orleans Today – Friday night, April 28th, 2023, there was a shooting outside of Mandina’s restaurant in Mid-City New Orleans, which resulted in the death of one man and the wounding of another lady. At 8:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Canal Street, according to the police report. The individual was pronounced deceased at the scene by the authorities. According to the police, the woman was transported to the hospital by paramedics.
During the first day of the 2023 Jazz and Heritage Festival, two people were shot and killed inside of a well-known Creole Italian restaurant in New Orleans. The city was bustling with tourists at the time. Additional information regarding the shooting was not immediately made public by the Police Department. After a gunshot in New Orleans East, four people, including two ladies, two adolescents, and two adults, were sent to the hospital. According to the New Orleans Police Department, the incident took place at approximately a quarter to three o’clock on Friday afternoon at the crossroads of I-10 East and Read Boulevard. According to the New Orleans Police Department, two adult females, a juvenile male, and a juvenile female all had at least one bullet wound to the body each.
