Information in details

According to the RCMP at Shawnigan Lake, the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with significant injuries. Drew Dell, the father of Drew Dell, whose daughter was friends with Wittneben, has begun an online fundraising campaign to benefit the family of the deceased adolescent. “Everyone who ever interacted with Nevaeh felt affection for her. It was much too early in her life for her to leave this earth “Dell stated. “It is difficult for us to fathom the anguish that Nevaeh’s parents and twin brother are going through at this time. I hope by raising money for them they don’t have to worry about living expenses for a little bit while they plan the most devastating thing a parent can go through.”

Mounties have a strong suspicion that the car was heading north when it collided with a traffic sign on the passenger side. The vehicle traveled roughly 100 meters down the highway when it hit a barrier and came to a rest against it. Because of the ongoing investigation at the scene of the incident, the Trans-Canada Highway was shut down for a number of hours. Authorities are searching for dashcam footage as well as witnesses to the collision who have not yet provided their statements to the authorities. Anybody who witnessed the collision or has information relevant to it is requested to get in touch with the Shawnigan Lake RCMP station at (250) 743-5514.
