North Carolina Central University Lockdown Investigations – Authorities are investigating a report of a potential threat received at the North Carolina Central University Monday. According to reports, the NCCU – North Carolina Central University campus located at 1801 Fayetteville St, Durham, NC., have been placed on lockdown as officials investigate the credibility of a threat found on social media. According to reports, students have been urged to shelter in place as officers arrive at the campus for investigations.
At the time of this publication, investigator have not released the credibility of the threat. This is a developing story.
North Carolina Central University – The North Carolina Central University, located in Durham, North Carolina, is a public historically black university in the United States. It was established in 1909 by James E. Shepard in association with the Chautauqua movement, and it received backing from private donations contributed by donors from both the North and the South.

According to the Baltimore Police Department, an investigation is ongoing after a 29-year-old man walked into a hospital on Sunday with a gunshot wound. Officers responded to a report of a shooting victim seeking treatment at a local hospital around 10:30 a.m., according to police. When authorities got at the hospital, they discovered the 29-year-old with a gunshot wound. Anybody with information is asked to call Central District Detectives at 410-396-2411.
