Death: Investigation continues regarding a deceased male – The Midland Police Department confirmed on Monday that officers are looking into the death of a man. Members of the Midland Police Department were alerted to the area of State Highway 349 in Midland at 1 p.m. in regards to a deceased individual, according to MPD.

According to beaumontenterprise.com, MPD, the individual was recognized as Nathaniel Machuca, who is 25 years old. The cause of death is unknown, and MPD said it is looking into whether foul play is suspected.

An autopsy has been requested, and the deceased’s relatives have been contacted. The investigation is still underway.
