Chad Andersen Motorcycle Accident – 24-year-old Chad Andersen of Ottawa, Ontario has passed away, he reported to have have been in a motorcycle accident where he was severely injured, Chad was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead after succumbing to his injuries. The crash happened on Thursday, July 7, around 3 p.m. in the area of Tenth Line Rd & Wall Rd, officials reported. According to his Facebook page, Chad Andersen was a native and resident of Ottawa, Ontario, he went and studied at St. Peter High School (Ottawa). Chad is the Owner and CEO at Andersen Contracting.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.

**Krisalyn Thomas and Joseph Chevis died in single-car crash in St. Landry Parish**
Troopers with the Louisiana State Police say that a single-car accident in St. Landry Parish on Friday night killed two people. On Thursday, July 8, around 10:30 p.m., Troopers learned about an crash on Louisiana Highway 182 near Nap Lane. The authorities said Krisalyn Thomas, who was 19 years old, and Joseph Chevis, who was 56 years old, both died in the accident. LSP says that the two were moving on LA 182 in a 1998 Dodge pickup. Chevis is said to have gone off the road.
The truck hit a tree and started to spin around before landing on its roof. Both Chevis and Krisalyn Thomas, who was riding with him, were not wearing seatbelts at the time. The Coroner’s Office for St. Landry Parish said that Chevis was dead at the scene. Thomas was in critical condition when she was taken to a nearby hospital, but she died from her injuries. Authorities think that speed was a factor in the crash, but they don’t know if the driver was drunk or not. Standard toxicology samples were taken for testing, and the cause of this crash is still being looked into.
