Linnon Latham Death – An 18-year-old man has been found dead days after he was reported missing, according to Miramar Police Department. The victim has been identified as Linnon Latham. 18-year-old Linnon Latham better known as L.J., turned up dead in a lake on Thursday evening in a lake near Vizcaya Park, at 14200 SW 55 St., according to Tania Rues, a spokeswoman for the department. At present, no foul play is suspected.
The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office has investigators hard at work trying to determine what ultimately led to Latham’s passing. Latham was last seen alive about 11:30 p.m. on Monday in Vizcaya Park, which remained flooded Friday after the deluge that occurred on Wednesday. On Wednesday, the police appealed to the general public for assistance in finding Latham after he had not been seen alive since that time.
Miramar detectives were assisted in their hunt for Latham by staff from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the Pembroke Pines Police Department, and the Miami-Dade Police Department. Additionally, personnel from the South Florida Water Management District assisted in the search.
Miramar Police Department wrote;
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the search for Linnon “LJ” Latham has come to a close. His body was located in a lake, Thursday evening in the Vizcaya community. Although at present time no foul play is suspected, LJ’s cause of death will be determined by the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office. We thank the Pembroke Pines Police Department, Broward Sheriff’s Office, Miami-Dade Police Department, and the South Broward Drainage District for their assistance in helping us locate LJ. We ask that you keep his family in your prayers.

He was wearing a white t-shirt, red Adidas Jogger & Gucci slides. anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the police immediately.
