The search for Kate Mandala, a 74-year-old woman who has not been seen since the 30th of December and who went missing from her home, continues. Currently, searches are being conducted in the communities of Spring Mountain, Springfield Central, Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, and Brookwater by the police and volunteers from the State Emergency Service (SES).
Due to the nature of her medical condition, both their family and the authorities are concerned for her safety. Kate has a limited command of the English language, and she may also be disoriented and thirsty. The authorities have asked locals, particularly those living in the #SpringMountain region, to search their backyards, garages, and sheds for signs of Kate.
Additionally, the police are requesting that any residents in this area who have access to CCTV monitor the footage beginning at 8:00 am on December 30 and immediately report any sightings to the authorities.
