The pursuit accelerated to 115 mph after that. According to the report, the chase came to a stop when the vehicle pulled into a private home’s property.
According to the report, Javon Chattine, the car’s passenger, sped away from the vehicle and ran into the woods. He was apprehended and put in custody. Serenity Jackson, the car’s driver, was taken to the Georgetown County Detention Centre and charged with a DUI as well as other offences. She did not attempt to flee.
The cause of Daniel Altman’s death has not been reported by the police and the circumstances surrounding how he was found is not also known at the time of this publication.
Daniel’s sister, Caroline Altman, said Daniel works at Texas Roadhouse and would get off late at night. She said on the night of April 10, he said he was headed to Kingstree to meet a woman.
