Chad Cope Death – Chad Cope of Covington GA, who has been missing sine April was reportedly found dead on Saturday, June 3. He was 33 years old. The circumstances surrounding how he was found was not released and a cause of death has not been mentioned at this time. He was last spotted in Conyers, Georgia, close to Irwin Bridge and Farmer Road. There was a $8500 reward offered to anyone with information about Chad’s whereabouts.

Skeletal remains were discovered in Covington, and authorities are attempting to identify them. According to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, the remains were discovered on November 11 around 5:30 p.m. near Henderson Mill Road. Since then, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has received them.
Authorities said they are aggressively looking into the matter and are awaiting the findings of an autopsy. The location of where Covington Police Department detectives have opened a missing person’s case is about 15 minutes away from where the skeletal remains were discovered. Debra Ashby, 64, was reported missing earlier this month; police are looking for her.
The identity of Ashby’s remains was not verified by investigators. The identity will be determined by the autopsy findings.Ashby was last seen or heard from on October 29. It was Ashby’s boyfriend who last saw her. According to a detective, the boyfriend was detained in April for assaulting Ashby at home. Her partner is presently incarcerated in Newton County. One week after Ashby vanished, police detained him for breaking the restraining order she had on him.
Ashby was last seen sporting a bandana-style head wrap, blue trousers, and a gray shirt. Police have given a description of her as a black woman, 5-feet-3 inches tall, 112 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
