A man in Maryland came home from work to find his home had been the scene of a murder-suicide involving four other people, according to the police. According to the Charles County Sheriff’s office, when authorities rushed to a residential residence in La Plata, Maryland, on Friday, the homeowner was standing at the front door and two women and three males were found dead inside. Their bodies showed signs of having been subjected to violence.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the suspect, Andre Sales, was 28 years old. He went inside the house and killed his ex-girlfriend, Sara Mann, who was 21 years old; her brother, Kai Mann, who was 18 years old; their mother, Sommaly Mann, who was 48 years old; and another man who was there, Javon Watson, who was 23 years old.
According to the investigation conducted by the police, Sales, who dwells at a different location, subsequently shot himself with a firearm. The well-being and safety of two small children who had not been seen or heard from for some time were confirmed when they were discovered later at a different place.
In order to determine a motive for the crime, the police have stated that investigators and forensic professionals are still examining evidence and interviewing relatives and friends. According to the police, autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore in order to determine the precise cause of death for each individual.
Earlier, the police had stated that it seems as though the problem is contained to the property.
