Now that the evening has concluded, I have a moment to remember my friend and coworker Mike Mayo. We didn’t spend ages together, but the thought of you passing at such a young age and leaving behind your beautiful family is a profound tragedy. I’ll never forget the last hug we shared at the General Membership Meeting, and the words we shared. You’ll be deeply missed my friend. – Bryan Railton said.

Who was Mike Mayo?
Mike Mayo was a longtime resident of North Vancouver, British Columbia where he was born and raised, also residing there until the time of his death. He was a business representative at IUOE. Mike attended St. Thomas Aquinas High where he completed his secondary education. He lives in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Prior to his death, he was in a relationship with Cindy Stibbard, who was a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Founder at Divorce ReDefined.
Mike’s spirit was like none other. He was the brightest star in the sky and every day he poured all of his love into everyone and everything around him. He was my true love, my eternal connection, my person. He was an incredible father, stepfather to my kids, role model, confident, friend, leader, helper, inspiration, and great protector. He made us feel safe and secure and cherished. I am incredibly grateful to have been gifted these last five years of his love, being beside him on this journey, supporting the person he had become, and building a life together. There was still so much to do. I am in complete shock that this is even real and I just want to wake up from this nightmare and fix this gapping hole in my soul.
Mike Mayo obituary and funeral plans will be released at a later date
