Mike Hagerty Cause Of Death, Obituary Unavailable Yet – Mike Hagerty, who appeared in the television shows “Friends” and “Somebody Somewhere,” has died. His age was 67.
According to fox26houston.com, Bridget Everett, Hagerty’s co-star, announced the news on social media on Friday. “The family of Michael G. Hagerty confirmed his death yesterday in Los Angeles with tremendous sadness,” Everett posted on Instagram.
“A beloved character actor, his love of his city of Chicago and his family were the cornerstones of his life,” Everett, who appeared in “Somebody Somewhere,” said in a tribute post.
“Mike, a loyal husband, leaves behind his wife Mary Kathryn, his sister Mary Ann Hagerty [and] her wife Kathleen O’Rourke, as well as their daughter Meg. She went on to say, “He will be sadly missed.”
The cause of death has yet to be determined. Hagerty is most recognized for his role as the building superintendent in the TV show “Friends.” In “Somebody Somewhere,” he played farmer Ed Miller. Miller was the father of Everett’s character.
Everett posted a second Instagram post to Hagerty, with photos of the two of them over the years. HBO expressed their condolences in a statement obtained by Fox News Digital.
“I fell in love with Mike the moment I met him,” she wrote. “He was one of a kind. Never met a stranger, warm and hilarious. We are heartbroken that he has died. The entire cast and crew of Somebody Somewhere admired Mike. His wife and family remain in our thoughts.”
“For many years, he has been a member of the HBO family, and his most recent role as Bridget Everett’s father in ‘Somebody Somewhere’ demonstrated his unique ability to bring heart to a performance. Mike was a delight to work with and radiated warmth and generosity to everyone he met. We express our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.”
