Michelle Morris Death – Michelle Antoinette Morris of Calgary, Alberta has passed away suddenly. The beloved mom was pronounced dead on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 after she died leaving behind her family and loved ones who reacted in utter shock, learning of her death. Michelle passed away at the age of 61. Her life an inspiration to many and she will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of meeting her during her time here.
She is survived by her husband Danny Morris, and children, Sabrina Bernes (Jared, Iris, Lexington), Breezy Manning (Amanda), Jordan Morris (Tara, Jaden), and Shawn Morris (Sue, Adelyn, James). She is also survived her mother Maria Buchwald, and sisters, Dawn Labrecque (Tim), and Evanna Ellis, including several nieces and nephews, Anna Thoresen (Andrew, Emilia, Henry), Mia Robertson (Shawn), Max Graver, Dominica Ellis-Hebb, and Gabrielle Landry-Ellis.
Who was Michelle Morris?
Michelle was best known for her kind and caring nature, which she shared with her four children, the children she raised via Girl Guides of Canada, her five grandkids, and honorary children and grandchildren. She always took time to play, read, and give out plenty of snacks. Michelle adored spending time with her lovely hubby attending Stampeders games, going on overnight motorbike excursions, and spending time together at The Yard. She was born on August 3, 1961.

It is unknown what Michelle’s cause of death was, at the time of this publication, the circumstances leading to her death will be determined and later communicated with the public subsequently. Tributes and prayers have poured in from several people, mourning her loss with her family as they navigate through this difficult time of grief. Michelle was preceded in death by her father Fred Buchwald, Robert McGregor (Papa) and nephew Joseph Charbonneau.
Funeral Services
Funeral services will take place at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Following the service, there will be a reception at the Funeral Home’s Hospitality Centre.
