Among those who mourned Michelle Martorella’s passing on Saturday, February 26, 2022, were members of her immediate family. Her parents, Gaetano (Harry) and Marlene Martorella of Scott Township, Pennsylvania, welcomed her into the world on February 24, 1967.
Michelle was adored and cherished by everyone who came into contact with her. She had a kind and generous heart, and she was always prepared to provide a helping hand to those in need. Her family and friends can rest in the knowledge that she is in the arms of her heavenly Father, where she will live in glory for all of time.

Michelle’s life will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 1 at St. Simon & Jude Catholic Church (1607 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220) at 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held at the church on the same day. Then she will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery, which will take place after the service (2001 Swallow Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220).
According to report, the family would appreciate donations given in her honor to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program, ATTN: Dr. Amit Tevar, MD, 3459 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.

She is survived by her wonderful family who are missing her greatly; siblings Dana Martorella, niece Tomasina Arrigo, Aunt Cheryl and Gabe Mingrone, Uncle Louis Martorella, Uncle James and Aunt Susan Martorella, niece Nicole Fontana, nephew James Martorella, cousins Jamie Madia, Isabella and Louis Martorella, David and Michael Colbert, and nephew James Martorella. She was predeceased by her parents, Lou, Louis III, and Gaetano.
