Michael H. Wooley, age 74, of Katy, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was born in Houston, Texas on October 25, 1946. Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston in 1970. He married Pat Murphy on November 2, 2013.
Who was Michael Wooley?
Michael had a career in Electrical Engineering for the Kalluri Group and maintained his license in Texas as a Professional Engineer. He had a passion for the Texas Water Safari and came in first place two times, which put him in the Guinness Book of World Records. He also enjoyed aviation, traveling and was an Eagle Scout. Michael was a loving and gentle husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Wooley; devoted sons, Stephen Wooley and Jason Wooley; beloved brothers, Tom (Melinda) Wooley of Sugar Land, TX and Jim (Linda) Wooley of Lake Forest, CA; caring stepdaughters, Angi Murphy and Staci Cox; and cherished grandchildren, Dylan and Gavin. He will be laid to rest alongside his loving parents, Hubert and Maude Wooley, who preceeded him in death.
Michael Wooley’s Visitation
A visitation for Michael will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
