Michael Urciuoli Death – On the morning of Saturday, March 4, 2023, our dear father, husband, and papa, as well as pastor, went to be with his amazing Savior. We were all there, seated, conversing, and praying over him while he was there. We touched him till he was led into the presence of his loved ones and taken to our Father’s home. Michael was raised in a traditional Catholic home in Southern California, where he spent his childhood participating in sports during the week and attending Mass on Sundays.
Information in details
In June of 1990, under the ministry of Pastor David Rosales of CC Chino Valley, Pastor Mike gave his heart to the Lord at a Sunday night service. Ordained in 1995, he served for three years as the children’s minister at CC Chino Valley before being moved out to South Ontario. He and his wife, Terry, have four grown children and seven grandchildren. Even though our hearts are heavy, there is still an incredible amount of calm that surrounds each and every one of us. The Lord has not disobeyed his promises. As of right now, we are consoling each other and mourning in close proximity.
There is no question in our minds that Calvary Chapel of Ontario has had an impact on a great number of people’s lives and will continue to do so in the future. As of now, interim Pastor Sean Thurin is leading in Spirit and in truth. What a blessing to see the people who so lovingly and faithfully served alongside Mike, step up, and continue in ministry. We will miss you, Dad. You have created a void that no man will ever be able to fill. However, God can. And for that, we are quite grateful. Heaven now holds an even bigger piece of our hearts.
I hope that once you get there, you’ll turn around and see us all right behind you one day. I pray that it seems as though no time has gone at all. Please give Grandpa and Ryan our best wishes. We will do our best to honor your legacy. Michael Urciuoli, pastor of Calvary Chapel Ontario, California, passed away late Saturday night as a result of complications connected to sarcoma cancer. Please pray for his family as they grieve this loss. The details of the memorial service that are going to be planned will be shared very soon.
