Michael Paulson Death – The 21-year-old man who passed away in car accident on Interstate 41 has been identified as Michael Paulson. Michael passed away after two vehicles collided on County Trunk K at Interstate 41 in the Town of Hartford around 11:05 p.m. on July 20, according to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Slinger PD officers arrived to investigate. The fire departments in St. Lawrence and Hartford also arrived on the scene. The first responding deputy found the body of the westbound vehicle’s driver.
The driver was a 21-year-old male from the Town of Hartford. A 64-year-old woman driving a vehicle in Fond du Lac County was hit by his car. After rescuers freed her from the wreckage, she was taken to the hospital via helicopter. Based on preliminary evidence, the woman from Fond du Lac County was making a northbound turn onto the northbound on ramp to Interstate 41 when she was rear-ended by a guy from Hartford. It seems that velocity has a role.
It took about six hours to reopen the route. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is still looking into what caused the crash. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has now examined eleven traffic-related deaths this year.
