Michael Beblar Death – The West Hills Community in Johnstown PA is mourning the death of a Sergeant who passed away unexpectedly last night. According to West Hills Regional Police Department, Sgt Michael Beblar otherwise called “Mike” has died. The beloved father and partner was pronounced dead unexpectedly. The family of Mike did not disclose his cause of death at the time of this publication. The Duca Funeral Home is in charge of his funeral arrangements.

Michael Beblar, 40, of Westmont, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center on June 13, 2023. A Johnstown native, Michael Beblar and Rosemary (Frankhauser) Beblar welcomed their first child on October 13. Uncle Joyce Svet and grandparents Emil and Shirley Beblar and Joseph Frankhauser Jr. preceded him in death. Grandmother Agnes Frankhauser, aunts and uncles Thomas (Michelle) Beblar, Joseph (Mary), Barry (Shari), Anita (David Hetzer), Tina Felix, James (Susan), and 26 cousins; brothers David L. Beblar (Rebecca) and their children Trevor and Connor, Steven R. Beblar (Krista) and their children Kayli and Luke;
loving fiancée Justine Sinclair. Sheldon and Lisa Sinclair, Justine’s parents, as well as Chelsey and Andrew Crum, Justine’s sister, and their children Greenley and Brantley, are among many who will miss her greatly. He graduated from Bishop McCort High School in 2001, went on to earn an associate degree in criminal justice from Penn Highlands, and completed training at the Greater Johnstown Police Academy.
He previously served as police chief in Dale Borough and as a police officer in both Upper Yoder Twp. and the United Police of Jersey. Michael was a trained federal firearms instructor and armorer, and he served as a sniper for the S.E.R.T. squad in Cambria County. Michael joined the F.O.P. LODGE 86 and became a member. The West Hills Regional Police Department has promoted him to the rank of Sergeant. He was instrumental in the planning of events such as the Hometown Heroes Softball Tournament and the Guns and Hoses Ice Hockey Game.
He volunteered for a wide variety of groups because he enjoyed working with kids. Michael loved his fellow police officers very much. We will never forget Michael, who was a devoted family member on many fronts.
