Officials have released that the medical examination of Mica Miller is consistent with a self-inflicted death. The 30-year-old South Carolina resident had recently been harassed and stalked by an unnamed individual just days after getting an order of protection against her husband, pastor John Paul Miller. She recently had someone slashing her tires as well as following her while she was in public, including confronting her in public.
She was receiving non-stop calls from different numbers she did not recognize. Police witnessed Mica being followed by the unnamed individual. The individual was referred to as a male.
Mrs. Miller had publicly expressed to friends and family that she was fearful for her life. She did mention it was her husband harassing her, according to friends and family.
Miller’s family is skeptical of the medical examiners findings. Allegedly, Micah was alone and camping in North Carolina when her life ended with a gunshot wound. Her family and community do not believe it was self-inflicted. For now, that is the medical examiner’s findings however.
We will continue to update as the family does not agree with this finding and there is an active investigation in the case right now. Her family has asked the public not to believe the narrative her husband has put out there. They have stayed consistent stating that she would never do anything like this, and she was a very God fearing and loving woman.
Her friends and family have publicly stated that the pastor groomed Mica Miller when she was a young girl in his church. Pastor John Miller has not responded to these allegations. He did tell the members of his congregation that her passing was self-inflicted. He then told them that they could not say a word about it, but instead stand up and quietly walk out.
In an odd rant, after telling the congregation they could not speak of Mica Miller or her passing, he included that she had mental illness. He also insisted that her obituary read that she said he was the funniest and best pastor on Earth.
All of this is alarming to not only her family but also the public in general. Our thoughts are with her family at this time. I hope they get the answers they are needing for closure.
