A heavy police presence is reportedly in the area of the Downtown Miami Luxury Hotel on SW 13th ST. following report of armed subjects in the area. The incident is reportedly happening in the area of SLS Brickell in Miami, Florida. There are no confirmations of victims or evidence of a shooting at this time.
Police in Miami said they were called to the 1300 block of S. Miami Avenue after reports of a shooting outside a high-end condo building. The address was changed to 801 S. Miami Avenue at a later date. Investigators said that when they got to the scene, they saw a man who seemed confused and was acting strangely. The man had a gun and was shooting at his balcony because he thought someone had broken into his flat. He has since been taken to a hospital to be checked out by doctors, so his name can’t be shared yet. Investigators eventually found the gun, and no one was hurt.

Both a man and a woman had been shot to death and their bodies were found on a pavement in Brickell. The Miami Police Department is looking into what appears to be a murder-suicide case after witnesses reported finding two dead bodies on a sidewalk outside of a luxury apartment complex in Brickell on Wednesday night. The witnesses said they saw the bodies while leaving the property. At approximately 9:20 p.m., investigators stated that they received numerous complaints regarding a person who had been shot close to the SOMA at Brickell Apartments, which are situated along SW 12th Street and 2nd Avenue.
When the cops arrived, they found a man and a woman lying on the ground on the sidewalk outside of the apartment building. Both were covered in blood. According to the investigators, the investigation is just getting started, but everything that has been found so far indicates that this may have been a murder-suicide. Specifically, the body was found in the same location as the bullet holes.
