MCO accident: 2 died in single-vehicle accident outside Orlando International Airport

Traffic incident that happened at Orlando International Airport caused major flight delay  – Following an accident that happened outside Orlando International Airport on Saturday, July 9th, 2022, severe injuries were sustained by victims resulting in the death of two victim. The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. and the authorities have been able to identify the victims that died in the accident. The victims were identified by Orlando police as 34-year-old Erica Pacheco and 56-year-old David Morales.

According to fox35orlando.com, the two victims identified by the officials were occupants of the Land Rover that crashed in the accident that happened outside Orlando International Airport. The car had four occupants inside and it was headed towards south on Jeff Fuqua Boulevard close to Cargo Road when it veered off the road to the right. The cause of the diversion was not known. The car hit a concrete wall and overturned, it ended up in a canal along the route. The accident caused traffic on the way to Orlando International Airport.

The traffic took up to several hours as police looked into the fatal car accident that had just occurred close to the airport’s north entrance. It was stated that many vehicles posted images and videos on social media platforms. Some claim they missed their planes because they were hours trapped in traffic and some of the major flights were delayed earlier today. Many vehicles posted images and videos of the significant bottlenecks near the airport on Twitter. Some claim they missed their planes because they were hours trapped in traffic.

After some hours the officials were able to clear the road and people were able to go about their businesses. Despite someone claiming there had been a shooting at the airport on social media, airport officials have emphasized that there was no shooting in the area. Investigation about the caused of accident is still on.
