32-year-old Matthew Carl of Wellston, Ohio, was heading south on State Route 93 when he died in accident. He was driving a Yamaha YZF-R6 from 2009. The car failed to navigate a bend, veered off State Route 93 to the left, and collided with a guard barrier. Following the motorcycle’s rollover, which took place back on State Route 93, it came to rest off the right side of the road. Jackson County EMS took Mr. Carl to Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, Ohio, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Wellston Police Department, Wellston Fire Department, Jackson County EMS, and Jackson County Sheriff’s Department were among the organizations that provided assistance on the scene. For about an hour, the road was closed while the accident was examined.

Following a motorcycle accident in Jackson County on Friday evening, June 2, 2023, two persons are in the hospital.
