On Thursday, a 68-year-old man was killed in a motorbike crash on state Route 20 in Iron County. The man was riding a black Harley Davidson motorbike eastbound on SR-20, roughly 5 miles east of the point where SR-20 starts at Exit 95 of Interstate 15. According to the announcement, “there is a large, sweeping left hand curve at this location.” The motorcycle reportedly strayed to the outside after traveling too quickly through the curve.
The motorcycle suddenly veered off the road and collided with a boulder, turning over on its end. The helmeted rider was launched from the bike and onto the rocks. According to UHP, he passed away from his wounds right there and then. Lane closures in the traffic caused delays for around 3 1/2 hours while the area was inspected.
The Utah Highway Patrol revealed the rider’s identify early on Friday afternoon. Martin T. Trujillo of Clinton, Utah was named as the man. This report may not include all of the results because it is based on information provided by law enforcement.
