Mason Gorman Death – Mason Gorman of Applegate, Michigan has died, according to the information going around he was the victim of a fatal motor vehicle accident that happened over the weekend. The crash reportedly happened in Texas. Loved ones are devasted with the unexpected new of Mason’s passing. He was a graduate of Carsonville-port Sanilac High School. He was pronounced dead of his injuries at the scene.

He was described as one great athlete and friend. Wendel Smith wrote on Facebook that he was full of shock just knowing Mason is no longer here. They were not the closest but they were still buddies and grew up a bit together. All the memories they had on the basketball court, baseball field and even football field will be remembered. Mason was a great dude with a good heart. “Fly high buddy forever gone but never forgotten,” he concluded.

A 21-year-old Lexington woman has been charged in connection with an October collision that killed two Sanilac County adolescents. According to a statement released by the Sanilac County Sheriff Department, Laken Williams was arraigned on Monday on two counts of negligent driving resulting in death, one count of false report of a felony, and one count of lying to a peace officer.

The first two counts are punishable by up to 15 years in prison, a false report of a felony by up to four years in prison, and lying to a peace officer by up to two years in prison. According to police, Williams was travelling at a high rate of speed on Roach Road, west of Croswell Road, in Lexington Township on October 28 when his vehicle left the roadway and rolled multiple times.

Sheriff Garry Biniecki of Sanilac County stated that Williams was driving on gravel. “The investigation revealed that she exceeded 100 miles per hour,” Biniecki stated.
