Marvin Enrique Bardales Valle Death – All that his loved ones will have to remember Marvin Enrique Bardales Valle, 32, for is his love of his family and his ability to play the guitar. According to the NOPD, Valle was shot and murdered on March 8 just after 2 a.m. at an apartment building on Morrison Road. He was driving for Lyft at the time, and Tarius Tully, a 19-year-old passenger, allegedly shot him. With the use of information gathered by the detectives from the ride-sharing app, Tully was captured on March 14. He is currently accused with second-degree murder. Isaac Bardales Lopez, Valle’s cousin, stated, “It’s something so, so painful.” “We believe he was forced to drive at gun point to his location and that’s where he was shot and killed.”
The cost of burying Valle properly more than 1,000 miles away in his native Honduras, according to Lopez, has made it difficult for him to comprehend his cousin’s passing. “The entire price will be $12,500. The expense of sending him to Honduras will be $7,900. “That will be for a small funeral for family members who live here,” Lopez added. Loved ones say Valle’s journey to the U.S. was in search of the American dream. He worked in construction during the day and worked Lyft for extra cash. He would frequently send money back to his mother in Honduras, but now she is heartbroken that her only son is one of the latest victims of New Orleans’s gun violence.
Further information
Her current desire, according to Lopez, is to visit her deceased son one final time. She has always wanted him to return home, but not in this manner. As of March 23, 2023, the city of New Orleans had had 49 deadly shootings, according to the crime dashboard maintained by the New Orleans City Council. It’s the same number of 49 deadly shootings as last year. According to criminologist Ashraf Esmail of Dillard University, New Orleans may experience fatal shooting rates that are comparable to the 240 recorded last year if there is no real indication of progress. “We are not seeing a decrease. We just started the new year the way we started last year,” Esmail said. “We keep asking ourselves questions (like) more police? We want to be more staffed to get to scenes quicker.
But the question always is why are we seeing more homicides? Why are people firing? How do we stop that is the question. You can’t really be optimistic right now because you’re not given any reason to be optimistic.” Family members in New Orleans are urging others to treasure the time they have with one another as they remember Valle for his love and humor. “We need to show love. We need to show sincerity,” Lopez said. “We need to get together and show affection like it’s the last party you’re going to ever have because the day my cousin sat down here and we ate together, I didn’t know that was going to be the last time I was going to see him.” The expense of sending Valle’s remains to Honduras is being covered by funds raised by the family; any extra funds will be given to Valle’s mother. You can donate on their GoFundMe website if you want to.
