Irizarry was “observed holding a small, open folding knife against his thigh just before he was shot.” After he was shot, Irizarry died. After afterwards, he rolled up the window on the driver’s side of the vehicle, according to a statement issued by the prosecution. According to the prosecutors, Dial’s gunfire cracked the glass on the driver’s side window and wounded Irizarry multiple times.
