Mark Boyce Death – Mark Boyce, a 36-year-old resident of Uxbridge, Ontario, passed away sadly on Thursday, September 14, 2023, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. The circumstances surrounding his cause of death were not made public by the family at the time of this publication. He was announced dead by his sister in a social media post that read “Words cannot express the pain we are feeling, you are the baby of the family and now we are incomplete.. we will miss you we love you like crazy.”

Who was Mark Boyce?

Mark Stephen Boyce, born on October 16, 1986, was a beloved son to Lynne and Stephen Boyce and a loving brother to Kristina, Pamela, and Michael. One of the best pure goal scorers ever and a former Uxbridge Bruins ice hockey player, Mark Boyce only wanted to play with his buddies and neighborhood team.

According to Uxbridge Bruins Alumni, Mark played 116 regular season games in 4 seasons (2002-2003 to 2006-2007) with 74 goals, 100 assists, and 312 PIM. He was taller than a stick, but his heart and loyalty to his friends were bigger, and when he wasn’t grinning, he was singing Backstreet Boys. He made some fantastic chirps before scoring on you. Mark was a caring father to his son Beckett and will be best known for his love of family and friends, charm, and infectious smile.

Mark Boyce was one of the most talented pure goal scorers who just wanted to play with his friends and hometown team. From 2002/03 to 2006/07 Mark played 4 seasons totalling 116 regular season games – 74 goals, 100 assists, and 312 PIM. His heart and loyalty to his teammates was larger than his stick height and when he wasn’t smiling he was singing Backstreet Boys. He had some great chirps, and then he would score on you. R.I.P. Mark.

Mark Boyce’s obituary and funeral arrangements

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 11:00 am, burial to follow at Uxbridge Cemetery. Friends are invited to the Boyce Family home to share in a time of laughter, story-telling, and memories.
