Death: Marissa Minor Car Accident – 1 person killed in a three-vehicle crash in Bryan: According to authorities, one woman was killed in a three-vehicle collision on Saturday night. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the victim has been named as Marissa Minor, 21, of Bryan (DPS).
As reported by kxxv.com, Officers were summoned to State Highway 30 near College Station around 9:20 p.m. on reports of a three-vehicle fatality incident.
According to authorities, Minor was driving a 2018 Nissan passenger car westbound when she attempted to pass an unidentified vehicle by merging into the eastbound lane.
According to authorities, her vehicle sideswiped a 2016 Jeep SUV travelling westbound, causing it to enter a side skid before being struck on the passenger side by a 2020 Kia SUV travelling eastward.
Brazos County Justice of the Peace Kenny Elliott pronounced Minor dead at the scene of the accident. According to authorities, both the driver and the passenger of the Jeep were unharmed.
With non-incapacitating injuries, the Kia’s driver and three minor passengers were brought to CHI St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital.
The inquiry into the incident is still underway. At this time, no additional information is available.
