Marilyn Anne Pound Obituary, Death – With her family by her side, Marilyn Anne Pound (Eggleton) passed away peacefully Thursday, May 5, 2022. Marilyn was in her 91st year and was the daughter of the late Clayton and Isabel Eggleton, predeceased by her brother Gerald.
Marilyn was the cherished wife of Ross Pound, both of Thurlow township. She was the beloved mother of the late Philip Martin, Janet Walkom, the late LeAnne Summers, and Paul (Janet) Martin. She was the treasured stepmother of Dale (Kelly) Pound and Cheryl (Bob) Gordon. Marilyn was a special and loving Nana and Grandma to Carmen (Murray), Louise (Glenne), Kathrin (Nathan) and Marie Martin. Meagan (Josh), Kirsten (Wayne), Jordan (Evert), Ally (Luuk) and Jesse Martin.
She is also treasured by her Step grandchildren Anthony, Christopher and Joshua Pound and Carrie and Brad Gordon. She will also be missed by thirteen great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Marilyn will be at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Monday, May 9th, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at St Mark’s United Church, 237 Cannifton Road North on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 at 11:00am. The Rev. Ryan McNally officiating.
Interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Corbyville, Ontario. Reception to follow.
