Man Killed, Shot In A Fight At Club In Northwest Fort Worth Around 6 a.m. Sunday: According to authorities, a shooting at a club in Northwest Fort Worth early on Sunday left one person dead. When officers arrived at El Gallito Copeton Night Club in the 3200 block of North Main Street, north of the Stockyards, at around 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, they discovered the victim had at least one gunshot wound, according to an email from the police to the Star-Telegram. After being brought to the hospital, the man passed away.
According to authorities, detectives on the scene discovered that there had been an altercation inside the club that resulted in a brawl. One of the individuals leading the fighting group outside the building drew a gun and opened fire. The gunman left the area, maybe taking other participants with him, and went in an unidentified direction.
The age of the victim and any descriptions of the suspects have not been disclosed by the police. After notifying the victim’s next of kin, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased and ascertain the cause of death. Detectives looking the homicide are looking into the murder.
