Around 6:25 p.m., on Sunday evening, Seattle police responded to reports of a shooting on Capitol Hill, in the 1700 block of Summit Avenue and discovered a victim on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire Department medics, where he died from his injuries.

Seattle Police stated they were seeking a suspect around the time of the shooting on social media. Other information was not readily accessible. An investigation has begun.
A tragic incident had also occurred in the said area by Kyle Aaron Huff, 28, who carried out the Capitol Hill massacre in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, which is located in the southeast corner of the city.
Huff reportedly entered a rave after-party on March 25, 2006, and opened fire, killing six people and wounded two others. He subsequently committed suicide on the front porch of 2112 E. Republican Street, where he was challenged by police. He was apprehended, interrogated, and then released. [requires citation]
