Tulse Hill Stabbing – On Saturday, the 15th of April 2023, a 20-year-old man was stabbed to death in South London. Just before 6pm on the same day, emergency services arrived on the scene at a store on Norwood Road, Lambeth, following the incident. Police discovered a man with stab wounds, but they were unable to rescue him. A short while later, he unfortunately passed away there, and his assailant is still at large.

The horrible attack has not yet reached the victim’s family, but nearby Met Police officers will soon have more Stop and Search authority. The police said that a crime scene cordon is still in place and that no arrests have been made. Additionally, the Met has given local police in the region more authority to stop and search people. The victim’s name is believed to be known, and his next of kin is being contacted, according to a Met statement.

A spokesperson for the force said in a statement:

“Police were called at 5.58pm on Saturday, April 15 to reports of a stabbing in Norwood Road, SE27. Officers responded with LAS and London’s Air Ambulance. They found a male inside a shop suffering from stab injuries. “Despite the efforts of paramedics, the male, believed to be aged 20, died at the scene. Officers believe they know who the deceased is and are working to inform his next of kin.
In the region, a Section 60 Order authorizing more stop and search authority for police has been authorized. Calling 101 with the reference number CAD 5605 of April 15 may assist police identify anyone with information, video, or photos that may be useful.
