Man arrested for shooting death of Michael J. Robinson, 22, from Davenport – East Moline: In connection with a fatal shooting that took place late on Saturday night in East Moline, the authorities have taken a guy into custody.
When asked about the incident, East Moline Police Chief Jeffrey Ramsey stated on Sunday that the shooting that took place in the Deerfield Woods Apartment Complex on Saturday night at approximately 11:45 p.m. resulted in the death of one individual.
The victim was named as Michael J. Robinson, 22, from Davenport, according to a press release issued by the East Moline police department on Monday. Robinson was sent to Genesis Illini Hospital, where he was pronounced dead immediately after arriving. Robinson was transferred there via ambulance. Monday was the day that Robinson was supposed to undergo an autopsy.
According to the East Moline Police Department, Jarquez Robertson, age 21, from Huntsville, Alabama, is being charged with a single count of first-degree murder in connection with the attack which occurred.
Despite the fact that he was believed to have escaped back to Alabama, the Huntsville Police Department was able to make an arrest of him on Sunday without any incident. To return him to Rock Island County, it is anticipated that he will be extradited.
