An investigation by the Jackson Township Police Department and the Special Victims Unit of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office established that a female victim was attacked by an unidentified male attacker in the apartment complex’s laundry room at about 4:50 p.m. The woman was transferred to the Southern Campus of Monmouth Medical Center in Lakewood, where she received medical attention for her wounds before being released. Hamilton was a suspect after a thorough investigation by the Jackson Township Police Department and the Special Victims Unit of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office. Detectives discovered a second victim over the course of the investigation, charged him with stalking, three counts of burglary, and two charges of credit card theft.
On February 23, 2023, Hamilton was apprehended without incident and detained in the Ocean County Prison for a detention hearing. The attempted aggravated sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual contact, aggravated assault, kidnapping, and burglary that took place in Jackson Township on December 29, 2022, were all in reality Hamilton’s fault, according to further research.
