Death: A coroner has identified a youngster who was shot and killed at a park in central Pennsylvania – Malaki Beady, a 17-year-old who was shot and died in a park on Wednesday morning, has been identified by the York County Coroner’s Office.
According to pennlive.com, Coroner Pamela Gay said Beady, a York resident, was pronounced dead at 12:22 p.m. Wednesday at Penn Park, near Kings Mill Road and South Pershing Avenue. The shooting was reported at 11:04 a.m., according to city police.
An autopsy is set at 8 a.m. Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, according to Gay. During this period, Beady’s official cause of death and manner of death will be determined. As of Thursday, no arrests had been made in this shooting. It’s being looked into as a homicide.
