Makayla Harvey Missing – Makayla Harvey has been reported missing, she is 16 years old. Harvey was last seen leaving her father’s home in North Stockton, California on foot by a neighbor’s Ring camera on the Morning of July 18, 2023. She was alone and her destination was unknown. Makayla did not bring her skateboard with her like she usually would.
There were no circumstances or warning leading up to her disappearance that would would indicate a runaway situation, she is very close with her parents and siblings. Makayla has strong ties to Tracy, California – Ripon, California – Citrus Heights, California and could be in those areas. Makayla typically wears baggy clothes (90s grunge/skater style) likely to have a large tan/beige squish mallow with her and headphones .
She has nose piercing on her right and left nostrils and septum. She has her lower lip pierced (snake bites). A vehicle reportedly drove off with Makayla. According to Ray Harvey, they are looking for a grey hatchback, which drove off with her on Tuesday, July 18. Harvey said the red SUV photos are from a couple weeks ago and they are just of interest to him because they denied knowing Makayla when approached at the registered address by Tracy PD Tuesday evening.
They pulled up at 8:40 a.m. and waited almost two and half hours before pulling off with her after 11a.m. There was no struggle getting her in the car, and this was around the corner so she was obviously meeting them.

Officials from the sheriff’s department stated that the incident took place on the 2400 block of Myran Avenue. They believe that the woman who was hurt will make a full recovery, and that the incident that occurred was an isolated one that poses no future risk to the broader public.
Officials from the sheriff’s department did not release any other details on the shooting. Due to the closure of roads, sheriff’s officials have asked residents and visitors to stay away from the area.
