Maine Military Supply Suicide Investigations – Law enforcement agencies are investigating a death by apparent suicide on Tuesday. According to law enforcement agencies in Holden, Maine, a woman committed suicide at the Maine Military Supply in Holden. According to Holden Police Chief Eduardo Benjamin, the deadly incident occurred inside the business on Route 1A. He stated that no other people were wounded or participated.
Following the incident, the store was closed for the rest of the day. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office, Holden Police Department, Holden Fire Department, and Brewer Police Department were all on the scene. Law enforcement agencies were called to the scene for a report of a woman in distress. Arriving officers located the woman with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
Preliminary investigatios determined that the yet-to-be identified woman shot herself dead inside the Maine Military Supply store – which was built for military surplus items such as tactical equipment, weapons, ammo, knives, and crossbows, as well as hunting, fishing, and camping equipment.
