Maine Military Supply Suicide – An incident reportedly happened at Maine Military Supply on Tuesday, a woman was said to have died by suicide after shooting herself. The incident occurred inside the business on Route 1A. Holden Police Chief Eduardo Benjamin stated that no other people were wounded or participated. The identity of the victim has not been released. Authorities are still investigating and are yet to release an official report.
The store will be closed for the rest of the day Tuesday, but will reopen on Wednesday, according to a sign outside. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office, Holden Police Department, Holden Fire Department, and Brewer Police Department were all on the scene.
