She was confirmed dead on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, through a social media statement that read “Sending much love and prayers for my Wells/ Fleming family as they suffer the loss of another young beautiful soul. Rest easy and be at peace beautiful Madison Fleming and no doubt Pop Wells was there with open arms to hold you. See you all tomorrow.”
Who was Madison Fleming?
Madison Fleming was a resident and native of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. She was a graduate of Holy Heart of Mary High School. She was known to her loved ones as “Maddie” or “Mads.” She was an employee at Virginia Park Community Centre. She was a loving sister to Alyssa Fleming Deanne Fleming and the beloved cousin of Shiann Janes.
Maddie was a big, kind, funny, and wise woman who was beautiful on the inside and out. She had the most beautiful smile and a kind heart, and her personality was so lively that it lit up a room. Maddie will forever be remembered for her hard work ethic, for being an amazing husband sister, and daughter in the entire universe, for her fun-loving and adventurous spirit, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.

Maddie cared more about people and their well-being than anyone else. More importantly, Maddie will give you her full attention and all the love and support you never knew you needed. She was always up for a good time and liked spending time with her family and friends. There is no one else quite like Maddie. Even though those who loved her will miss her a lot, her spirit lives on in everyone she touched. She will be greatly missed, but even more lovingly remembered.
The circumstances surrounding Madison Fleming’s cause of death were not made public by the family at the time of this publication. She was an easy-going, fun-loving, kind-hearted, genuine, loyal, and devoted friend and was loved and adored by all who knew her. She never met a stranger. She leaves behind an enormous community of friends and family.
