Cause of the Los Angeles accident, how it happened
The driver of a fast car died Tuesday after the vehicle crashed into the backyard of a Southern California home after crashing through a wall.
The car jumped a curb and crashed through the property’s bordering wall in La Verne, a suburb east of Los Angeles, shortly before 9 a.m. The news station broadcast an overhead video of firefighters evaluating the vehicle’s twisted wreckage.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, the driver, was not immediately identified. Speed was certainly a factor in the incident, according to officials, but nobody at the residence was wounded.
